Whether In Home Studio or in your Home, Your session will/should be in a very warm setting in order for baby to be as comfortable and sleepy as possible. ( About 80ºF ) So dress in layers for your comfort. (Mom’s please let me know ahead of time if you are nursing or bottle feeding, C-Section or Vaginal Labor and mobility + whether your Newborn uses a pacifier or any other sensitivities.

All props, wraps, etc. are washed with Dreft. To see some samples and props you can go to my Hi-res Digital Gallery Site here.

OPTIMAL NEWBORN AGE IS: 5-7 days old, but up to 14 days for most poses.
I can also accommodate older newborns to 3mo. (less sleepy pose options).

Most sessions tend to be 2 hours, so prepare for snacks for yourselves and patience is key. We are following your Newborns cues and are being sure to handle your sweet baby safely and nurturing. As a Mother of 3 children this is most important and I have much experience in that area!

Before Your Newborn Session:

Feed/Nurse Newborn prior to arrival and do your best to keep Newborn awake. Try giving a bath, let Newborn kick with only a diaper on, tickle and play with Newborn, and let them fuss for a little bit (no pacifiers) for the few hours beforehand. Have your spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend, family or siblings help with this task while the “packer” gets all of your things ready.

Your Sweet Newborn Moments…

In my Home Studio:

In my studio, it will be a relaxing studio with more of a posed environment including backdrops and props. For a small additional fee you may choose to add Graphics for baby announcements, wall art for Baby’s room and more. (3 months usually is the timeframe to mail announcements out.)

In your Home (Lifestyle):

Sweet Newborn Nathan in his 1st home. Cleveland, Ohio.

Make sure your home is warm and it is quiet and minimal visitors. Please be sure to tidy any areas we shoot in advance to assure optimal use of your session time. I will arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the session to bring my travel studio inside and move things around for best lighting. Please be sure to open any windows prior.
